I grew up surrounded by music.  Everyone in my family, including myself, either played an instrument, sang or both.  The physical properties of wood really do make rich pleasing tones.

Instrument are typically not available for purchase online.  It is a special request item that is completely customized to your needs.

This is a 6-tone tongue drum.  It is an instrument that originates from africa.  It produces rich, pleasing sound unlike any other instrument I have heard.  This one is made from poplar and maple.  The poplar was dyed to look like a brown mahogany and the maple was dyed to look like cherry.  It has a water-based polyurethane finish.  I made three others similar, but not exactly the same design, to give to my family as holiday gifts.
